Retford Secret Retreat - September 19th - 21st 2025 (DEPOSIT)

I can't remember how many Secret Retreats I've now been on with Indigoblu, but they must be good as I keep coming back! Once again we learned new techniques with Vivid Inks and created a lovely project that I can continue to add to at home. Kay is a patient and inspiring teacher, Ella ensures everything runs smoothly and feeds and waters us and Alfie mans the pop up shop, not hesitating to keep a list of items he can collect from their premises. Nothing is too much trouble for Indigoblu and I am so grateful they continue to inspire us! Thank you so much!!!

A fabulous weekend making new friends and crafting a beautiful project!

I’m very new to multi-media crafting and I booked this because I wanted to expand my crafting skills and do new things with like minded people. Whilst I have often spent a day at my own crafting table I never spent 3 solid days sleeping, breathing and dreaming inks and stamps. Kay, Ella and Alfie were over the moon. Kay’s demonstrations were clear and concise and she was always available to answer questions and give encouragement. She is full of lovely ideas that you can take and run with. Ella took care of the group ensuring we were all well fed and watered throughout the three days. The buffet lunches were fantastic with lots of choice and lovely desserts. And last but no means least Alfie ran the pop-up shop and his stock knowledge and his humour was second to none.

The rest of the group were so welcoming, sharing not just ideas but their stash and giving so much encouragement when I felt myself flagging. But best of all was being able to play with Indigoblu stamps and colours and actually try things out without having to commit to ordering. Looking at items on line is nor the same as holding them in your hands and having a play and watching how the colours react in real life. There were stamps there that I wouldn’t have thought of purchasing but one I tried them I realised that they were exactly what I needed and of course they ended up in my bag.
